I just realized something. Anytime me and my mom get into a fight or an argument, the next day we talk about the weather over the phone for a reeeally long time. After discussing it, we reach some sort of negotiated opinion that we can both agree on and then end the conversation. Diplomacy has been achieved. Cease fire.
